Fisher School Elective Courses
The Fisher School's Master of Business Administration (MBA) provides a passport to borderless careers.  We recognize that effectiveness in international business requires use of another language with a deft combination of business skills and the subtle appreciations that underlie cross-cultural communication.  Cross-border business success requires curricula that are rigorous, balanced and continuously relevant, accurately reflecting and delivering to graduates the comprehensive skills required of business leaders in the 21st Century.

To help students acquire these skills, a wide variety of Elective Courses are offered, allowing the student to specialize in their individual career objectives.  Choose from the various categories in the list below to see a listing of elective course descriptions.  Note that elective courses typically are 600-level courses.

Students may also incorporate coursework from other graduate programs on campus, including courses in commercial diplomacy & trade, international policy studies, public administration, non-proliferation studies, international environmental policy, area studies, and many others.  For more details, please contact the Fisher School at fgsib@miis.edu.
